Back In Santo Domingo

Just wanted to let you know that we've made it back to the capital, Santo Domingo. Our two and a half bus ride back was problem free and even included a 25 minute rest stop half way back. After gathering our luggage, we all headed back to our host homes to settle and get cleaned up. A few of the girls were going to the salon to get their hair washed and dried...and then the team will be gathering tonight in the home of Ana Lia, one of the Logos girls. Pizza and hanging out is the agenda for the evening. It will be a pretty early night since we will need to repack and get some well needed rest so that we can be awake for church tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, we will be attending the morning church service and then will leave at 1pm to head to our hotel where we will spend the afternoon on the beach. Our beautiful hotel is located in the town of Boca Chica, which is about 15 minutes away from the airport. We are very much looking forward to our time on the beach working on our tans and enjoying the Carribbean Sea. In the evening (after the sun goes down), we will eat dinner together at a wonderful buffet restaurant called "La Cotica" and then we'll have a time together reflecting on how awesome God is and the many blessings that we have experieced over the past two weeks.

And then.....Monday we go home!! We will spend some time Monday morning on the beach, have breakfast and lunch together and then we will head to the airport around 1pm. It's been an absolute great experience for us in the DR and we all have sweet memoriees tucked away in our hearts. We look forward to telling you all about it when we get home....very soon. Until then , we will take in as much sunshine as possible tomorrow and Monday before reality sets in and we find ourselves back in cold, snowy Ohio...
